March 15th Depart Chicago O’Hare
March 17th Arrival in Kathmandu (KTM)
March 18th-20th Organize Equipment, & Logistics, Acquire Tibetan Visa
March 21st-April 4th Acclimatization Trek from Lukla, Nepal
April 5th Return to KTM
April 6th Purchase Additional Equipment, & Meet Support Member
April 7th Drive to Zangmu (2350 m)
April 8th-9th Drive to Nyalam (3750 m)
April 10th Drive to Shegar (4350 m)
April 12th Drive to Everest Base Camp (17,000 ft)
April 13th Acclimatization around Base Camp
April 15th Trek to Interim Camp (19,500 ft)
April 16th Arrive at Advanced Base Camp (23,000 ft)
April 17th- May 29th Climb to the Top of the World (29,028 ft)
(The climbing itinerary will involve ferrying
equipment up Everest in a conservative manner,
establishing high camps, and descending for
rest at appropriate intervals. The summit day
is dependent upon the “weather window” but
will be between May 10th and the 29th. Please
inquire for additional info.)
May 30th- June 4th Travel by Land to Kathmandu
June 5th-7th Preparation for Departure
June 8th Arrival in Chicago
June 9th Liquidate Expedition Equipment
